Guidelines for PowerPoint (PPT) Presentations

Presenters are requested to follow the guidelines below to ensure effective, clear, and professional presentations during the conference.

1. Preparation of Presentation Slides

1. Presentation format: Prepare your presentation using LaTeX (.tex) or Microsoft PowerPoint (.ppt or .pptx) and upload the PDF version of your presentation using the link provided above Final PPT. 

2. Title slide: Include the paper title, paper ID, name(s) of the author(s), affiliation(s), and email address of the presenting author.

3. Slide design: Use a simple, professional, and consistent layout with a light background and readable text.

4. Font size: Use approximately 20–30 pt for body text and 32–40 pt for slide titles. Ensure that equations, figures, tables, and graphs are clearly readable.

5. Content: Present the research objectives, methodology, major results, key contributions, and conclusions concisely.

6. Mathematical content: Ensure that equations, mathematical symbols, graphs, and numerical results are clearly visible and properly labelled.

7. Visuals: Use relevant figures, diagrams, and tables wherever appropriate. Avoid overcrowded slides, excessive animations, and unnecessary decorative elements.

8. References: Include relevant references on the final slide or wherever necessary.

9. Proofreading: Check spelling, grammar, equations, figures, and slide numbering before submitting or presenting.

2. Suggested Structure of the Presentation

A typical research presentation may include the following slides:

1. Title and author information

2. Introduction and research motivation

3. Research objectives and problem statement

4. Mathematical model or methodology

5. Analytical or numerical results

6. Discussion and interpretation of results

7. Major contributions and conclusions

8. Future scope of research, if applicable

9. Acknowledgements and selected references, if required

The number and arrangement of slides may be adjusted according to the nature of the research and the allotted presentation time.

3. Presentation Duration and Time Management

• Presenters must strictly adhere to the time allotted (10 Minutes) in the conference programme.

• Focus on the most significant findings and contributions of the paper.

• Rehearse the presentation in advance to ensure that it can be completed within the allotted time.

• Allow time for questions and discussion as directed by the session chair.

• The session chair may request the presenter to conclude if the allotted time is exceeded.

4. Guidelines for Online Presentations

Presenters scheduled for online participation are requested to:

1. Use the official online meeting link provided by the ICCMA 2026 Team.

2. Join the meeting at least 10 minutes before the scheduled presentation.

3. Ensure a stable internet connection, a working microphone, and a suitable presentation device.

4. Keep the presentation file readily accessible on the device.

5. Test screen sharing, audio, and other necessary technical arrangements before the session.

6. Keep the microphone muted when not speaking and turn on the camera when feasible.

7. Display the presentation in full-screen mode and speak clearly throughout the talk.

8. Follow the instructions of the session chair and respond to questions within the allotted time.

5. Submission of the Presentation File

• Presenters should follow any presentation-file submission instructions and deadlines communicated by the ICCMA 2026 Team.

• Use the following file-naming convention:
  PaperID_PresenterName.pptx
  Example: ICCMA023_PresenterName.pptx

• Ensure that the submitted file corresponds to the paper accepted for presentation.

• Keep a backup copy of the presentation in PDF format.

6. General Instructions

• The presenting author should ensure that the presentation is based on the accepted conference paper.

• All authors should verify the accuracy of the content and acknowledge relevant sources.

• Presentations should maintain academic integrity and professional standards.

• Any technical difficulty or change in presentation arrangements should be communicated to the ICCMA 2026 Team as early as possible.

• Presenters must follow any additional instructions issued by the session chair or ICCMA 2026 Team.
